Epsilon making a home in Blue Ash

Epsilon is relocating to Blue Ash from Milford this month, adding to the city’s growing cache of software firms. The marketing services company also is expanding, with plans to add at least 35 jobs to the current 105-person company.

“Despite the downturn in the national economy, our business is strong and we anticipate continued momentum,” said Epsilon President and CEO Michael Iaccarino. “Our latest expansion reinforces our commitment to hire the best local talent to support our fast-growing business, and as this long-term agreement demonstrates, Epsilon is strongly committed to the city of Blue Ash.”

The company made a major commitment to the city, signing a 10-year lease for 28,000 square feet office space at 4445 Lake Forest Dr. in the Lake Forest/Westlake Business Park.

CincyTechUSA fosters innovation in Blue Ash, Greater Cincinnati

The City of Blue Ash was one of Greater Cincinnati’s first municipal funders for the public-private partnership program CincyTech  aimed at growing and supporting cutting edge technology-based businesses across the region.

CincyTech raised $7.5 million in 2006 in matching dollars to draw down a $15 million grant from the Ohio Third Frontier's Entrepreneurial Signature Program.

Two new businesses given funding through CincyTech are progressing and have set up shop in Blue Ash. One is Akebia Therapy, which develops technologies to treat anemia and vascular disease. The startup has been working on projects in conjunction with Procter and Gamble Pharmaceuticals and others.

A second startup, SignTrak LLC, develops web-based business software to control cost and monitor effectiveness and efficiency of Point of Sale ordering for beverage distributors.

A Hamilton County Development Corporation incubator graduated from an entrepreneur program and moved to Blue Ash. AceTech is one of 13 firms that graduated from last fall’s program. AceTech refurbishes and resells commercial grade printers, and has a global client list.

“AceTech has been added to a prestigious list of HCBC graduates.  I'm proud of their accomplishments because their efforts have been well planned and implemented.  Blue Ash is getting a quality, growing company,” says Pat Longo, Director of the Hamilton County Incubator.
