Living and working every day in a great place can lead to underestimating the excellence around us. So it is with respect to doing business in Blue Ash. Take the region’s largest office project in recent history, for example. Citigroup could have decided to open its 1,000-person IT and Consumer Innovation Training Center anywhere. They chose Blue Ash, citing our local and regional pool of IT professionals, excellent universities, and easily accessible location.
They’re right about those advantages, yet such decisions take much more into account. Regardless of their size or industry, outstanding businesses want to be in outstanding environments. They want to associate with exceptional community and business partners. They want “home” to be a great place to grow a business, to live and to raise a family. All of these things define Blue Ash.
Citigroup’s investment earned a Growth Award from the Cincinnati USA Partnership, the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s economic development division. Recent awards have also gone to several Blue Ash companies including ProSource, Triplefin and The Wolfe Practice, which are profiled on page 2.
It’s no coincidence that while Blue Ash businesses garner such accolades, so does Blue Ash itself, such as our new City of the Future rating by fDi magazine as the second most business-friendly “micro city” in North America. Success breeds success. People want to associate with winners. As we keep advancing, we’ll see more great news because, quite simply, Blue Ash is a great place to do business. We appreciate your support and investment in our community.
